Please help..... sometimes I need my in-call volume high and sometimes low depending on where I am. The up doesnt work for anything.... in-call volume, music, etc. I've had the phone a few months now. I don't have insurance through AT&T.

Next, please check your installed BB OS level:
Please compare that to what ATT currently shows as their supported OS for your BB (220.127.116.116?):
If you are on an older OS, then updating is recommended:
If you are on PC, your BB is behind, yet the Desktop Software does not offer the update, then please download the update from the above portal and install that to your PC. Also make sure that your PC has only one BB OS package installed to it. Then the PC Desktop software should offer it.
If you are on the ATT current version, then it is possible that this is either a defect in the OS or perhaps you have some other apps that are interfering. Has this ever worked properly?
You can use another carriers BB OS package via the PC Desktop Software. Simply download, from the above portal, the OS you desire, install that to your PC, find and delete at least one (and possibly 2) copies of VENDOR.XML, and then run the PC Desktop Software...it should then offer that package to you to update your BB to.
