A friend of my even deactivated his BIS thinking it will be reactivated and when he called customer call center on cell c they said he should hv called friend and now my BIS is acting up and am calling they r saying there's nothing wrong with their network its my phone all to findout there's morethan 10 people with the same issue its sad

My last attempt if you guys are interested.

Try downloading this browser:
http://www.ucweb.com

Now go to settings > switch access point

The browser should have this by default
TCP for BIBS [WPTCP]..

Tested on MTN not does not incur charges
If you scroll up in the "switch access point" area right at the top you find Bis ..you can switch to that access point.

For Mtn both points work with no charges incurred....I have tested on my phone which is prepaid.

For vodacom use BIS access point

Understood, but switch access point to see if there is a difference in speed...did you try that?

Yeah I been using UC browser but it doesn't help. It downloads at like 3kbs.

I'm using TCP for BIBS [WPTCP].. Access point on UC broswer and downloading a 350mb video @ 75kps

Guys if you having issues with the BIS let's go on twitter and follow at Blackberry and tel 'em to resolve this issue with their partners and ish coz this aint helping mybe there r lots of folks who r sttuck with this ish
