Sms queuing

Hi,

'just having a problem with my new Blackberry Bold, when i'm trying to send sms it goes in a wait mode (or queuing) and just doesnt send, so i have to pull the battery out and re-insert it in a while and then re-send the msgs or reset the software all the time..

Hi ..

 

I just got my BB Bold 9000 a few days ago, and I get the same issue. When i turn off the device, remove the battery and turn it back on, I get an error message - related to some App. I really dont remember. But is this a software related issue?

 

I tried the link and the solution provided there, but still get the same issue.

Hi ,

 

have had BB9000 and i've got problem with sending sms ,pending  appear on it but when I  remove battery  it solved .

I only have 7bit and UcS2 in option I've been told that if i change to 8 bit will be solved  but  can i get 8 but .

 

Also I heard that It could be from wifi connection what is the problem and how can  fix it ?

Hi,

There are many posts from different forums on this issue. I found only one solution that doesn't seem to limit the phone's

other functions.


 I've just got my new Vodafone Blackberry Bold and it is literally about 2 days old and today, like you, I could not send any SMS because they were all pending.

I was messing about trying all different things and I've finally discovered a way that will let you send the SMS.

Go to: Options > SMS > (scroll down to "Network To Send Over" and click on trackball) select "Packet Switched". I had about 6 SMS hanging there in pending status, after I chose Packet Switched, I was able to send all of them. I also did a dummy test SMS to a friend and it got through.
