Solution for installing Blackberry apps without internet access

Have the 8330 which has bluetooth but not WiFi.  Just read and article at: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackberry-apps-f35/howto-install-apps-without-bis-57032/    I write to inquire if any knowledgeable  members have read this and is this a plausible solution.

I would like to try it but the script but I find that one must replace the app name with the name of the one of interest.  In this case I am interested in the audible.com audiobook player.  My first question would be "How does one know the precise app name that would work...  there could be many variations.  Hoping for a short dialog with someone that can comment on such things.

You know the precise name of the file, because you have downloaded that app file to your PC...

You look at the downloaded COD file, there's the name.

Re: Solution for installing Blackberry apps without internet access

Much thanks for your continued support.  I was hesitant about the filename because the example did not have the filename in all indicated places and there was a suggestion of the use of "COD" files..  Additionally, there is a reference to a "fileset" with which I am not familiar.

I did want to ask if you thought this a plausible solution and if you aware of anyone who has tried the instructions.  Hoping you can stay with me until I can test this.

Yes, I've loaded apps that way in the past.

That ^^ appears to be the contents of an ALX file.
