i recently did an upgrade of my blackberry 9800, before then my BIS was working fine and it actually worked for 4 days before i did the upgrade, after the upgrade i discovered that my BBM wasnt working, when i opened it i could not see pictures of my contacts anymore, i could not receive nor send chat it was off, i tried to re- set up my internet Email on the Email account setup but the only option available is the Enterprise account activation, but when i used the Desktop Manager to trouble shoot, i found out that some application modules were not installed on : 1. E mail application setup. 2. Visual Voice Mail. 3. maps. and 2 other applications. i have doen OS wipe and re-installation, i have also done downgrade and upgrade but the problem is still. Please forum this is my story because of this problem my internet/BIS service has ceased working since then. pls i need a positive and lasting solution to this problem. my service provider is Etisalat Nigeria, but i am in the US presently. but am on roaming.

From your homescreen, go to Options>Device>Advanced System Settings>Host Routing Table. On that screen, click the BB meny button and select Register Now. Once your phone is re-registered, any outdated or missing service books should be sent. Perhaps that will solve your situation.
