Status stuck at Working

Hi, i have a blackberry pearl and i'm using version 4.22 of the desktop manager. all was working fine over the past year or so but it has suddenly stopped working. whenever i connect my blackberry (usb) the status changes to working but does not go any further. i've uninstalled the software and re-installed but its still the same. i'm currently downloading ver 4.3 but i'm not going to hold my breath.


Has anyone seen or know of a fix for this or know what could be causing the problem? i'm using XP.

Hi. Try connecting the BlackBerry and once the Working mode appears, do not turn off the BlackBerry just pop the battery and leave it out for 10-15 secs and then pop it back in and see if the Working mode stops. If not, check this link:
