Storing pictures

A dumb question: I have set options to store pictures on MEDIA CARD. The pictures appear on MEMORY CARD. Isn't the the MEMORY CARD the basic non removable card and my 4gb MicroSD the MEDIA CARD (/media Card/Blackberry/pictures)?

The only other option is DEVICE MEMORY = MEMORY CARD. So why do my pictures appear on MEMORY CARD which is device memory?

Every time I think I understand the BB, someting like this shows up. All of this confusion could be eliminated with a good User Guide (not the one available) for which I'm prepared to pay.

Re: Storing pictures

On the curve there is device memory and media card.  I believe the memory "card" and media "card" are the same thing.

Re: Storing pictures

OK. But why do my pictures end up on the Memory card aka device memory whe the option is set to Media card?

It would help if BB standardized the nomenclature or at least provided an equivalence list.

Re: Storing pictures

internal memory = device memory
media card = memory card

Re: Storing pictures

OK. good.

Why do my pictures still go to device memory when the setup says to media/memory card?
