Storm 2 sync groupwise

When I sync my storm 2 with groupwise version 8 the alarm times are not syncing correctly.  and alarm time of 30 minutes in groupwise will sync to the storm as 930 minutes.  Anyone have an answer?

Re: Storm 2 sync groupwise

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Please specify as much information as possible when posting, it helps us help you.

Is your Blackberry configured through an Enterprise server (BES)?'

If you are a BIS user are on a stand alone groupwise setup?

Are you performing a wired or wireless synch?

Let us know

Thanks,

Re: Storm 2 sync groupwise

I am not on an enterprise server.  I am using blackbery desktop manager version 5.0.1.28 with a wired sync to Novell groupwise version 8.0.1.  I am syncronizing my calendar, address book, and tasks.  both calendars are set to default the alarm time a t 30 minutes.

Thanks,

Re: Storm 2 sync groupwise

Hi,

Thanks for the information.

The majority of the Groupwise users are corporate networked based, were you at one time?

You could have an IT policy on your phone for example.

I would first go to the Blackberry  calendar select, menu key, options.

The screen will show the calendar associated with groupwise.

Highlight then click on it, make sure wireless synchronization is off.

Then up to general options and match the formatting of the first day and the start and end of days with your PC settings.

Let us know what you see.

Thanks,

Hi! Here is what I suggest. I will help whatever way I can from the Blackberry side. I have listed two Novell Groupwise sites that do not require joining. It became apparent while spending and hour of research I do not know your setup or terminologies as well as you I will get emailed with any response here, you the same. So you take the Novell sites and I'll take the Blackberry tech base, Sound fair?

Thanks, Bifocals

Re: Storm 2 sync groupwise

Never was a network based user.

The calendar that is shown is my email address. this is my home email account that i set up on the blackberry. nothing about groupwise. ???

Wireless synchronization is off.

I have matched all formatting, first day of week, start and end of day..etc.
