Storm 9860 BBM not working

Hi, i have been trying to set up the BBM on my new 9860 but it shows welcome to Blackberry messenger as a title and nothing else on a blue screen. How do i progress from here?

You data plan or BIS?
But you have BIS data plan or you can not set completely BBM.
If you have data plan or BIS login to a Wireless Network is the most recommended.
To finish the configuration process BBM.

Yes i have a BIS plan from my service provider-tmobile. All other apps are working including my blackberry world, facebook, whatsapp etc except for the BBM.

Removes and installs the application BBM again

And proceeds to configure your BBID BBM.

i already did that like a million times. After the whole process, it just says welcome to blackberry messenger and stops at the blue screen.

I recommend that you connect to a Wi-Fi network
And see that you solved the problem
Since the signal perhaps this slow lyrics.
Try it.

I was able to fix the problem. I deleted the BBM, updated the os from 7.0 to 7.1, and reintalled the BBM and it worked. Thank you very much for helping.
