Storm Compatible with Outlook 2003?

My company uses Outlook 2003 - I'm concerned about compatibility with Storm for email and especially the calendar function. I'm interested in getting the Storm but I need to be able to sync Outlook 2003. Can anyone help?

Yes, the Storm will sync PIM data with Outlook 2003.

Re: Storm Compatible with Outlook 2003?

I have the BB Storm and am having trouble with the outlook 2003. The storm has all my emails as  calendars, this is part of one of the updates as I have not had this problem till recently, I now can not sync the calendar from outlook or even back. The device manager does not even run that function, just task address and memo. I unchecked those boxes to have it do just the calendar and nothing can anyone suggest what is causing this and how to address this. I feel it is the bb storms update and the new choice of which calendar to use.

FYI -- the device is irrelevant to the compatibility with the PIM. Rather, the desktop software (DTM) version is what matters. See this KB:

  • KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager for synchronization
