Have been using Bold for 1yr+, received this (strange) request.........however under 'Email Accounts' cannot access email settings as it won't recognise User Name and Password! When put in email (username) settings (which still work on laptop) receive the following: "'The information you provided is incorrect. Retype your user name and password. Your user name and password are case sensitive".
Am at a complete loss and can't resolve (which i need to do within 36 hrs because am going overseas and need my BB to be working! Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

Email account re-validation can be a normal thing, depending on the email service provider.
You may be confusing the different credentials. Depending on many circumstances, you may or may not be needing to first enter your BIS credentials, into which you store your email credentials. But, those two credentials are separate, and only identical if you happened to create them so (which would be a pretty poor security idea, but nonetheless).
You might try your carrier BIS website from a PC/browser instead of the on-device BIS interface:
Otherwise, you can ring them up for formal support.

The solution from sdgardne to try Vodafone's BIS site is a good one. If, for any reason, you are unwilling or unable to log on to that site, I've had great success editing email details on my phone by typing www.blackberry.com/integrate in to my phone's browser.
Just another option for you to consider.
