Switching from Storm 1 to Torch 9850

Just 2 questions.  1. When I use BB Desktop software to transfer data between phones and whatever else, do I lose the apps, icons, etc that came with the new phone? 2. At the same time I received the new Torch I want to break with my company's enterprise server.  However when I moved data it also moved the company's email account over also.  In the new 9850, how can I break from the enterprise server and delete that email account on the new phone? Thanks

Re: Switching from Storm 1 to Torch 9850

Hi wengerdth,

Regarding your first question, transferring data from your previous BlackBerry should not remove any applications or icons from your new device.

To remove your connection with the Enterprise Server, I would advise backing up the new device and performing a security wipe as shown here: http://bbry.lv/kh5PFX

Do a selective restore as shown in this article: http://bbry.lv/bhaArf making sure to restore essential data only such as contacts and calendar.

Hope this helps.
