Sync Problem

After successfully syncing with my new Blackberry 9000, my PC suddenly won't recognize my device as a phone -- it only recognizes it as two drives.  Consequently, my Blackberry Desktop Manager doesn't see the phone -- I can't save, update, etc.  Any suggestions?

Connect the device to a main Usb on the back on your pc, and try again, let me know

Actually, the solution was to download a more current version of the desktop program.  The version distributed with the phone was old but when I downloaded 4.7, the problem was solved.
