Sync issues

Hi, I am using the new Torch 9800 and I cant seem to sync consistently with my Mac. The problem lies with the Calendar. Everytime I sync it will say An error occurred. Try syncing again. What I will need to do to get rid of the error mesg is to check the Replace all Calendar Event box at the Advanced tab but then this does not allow me to sync both ways.  Pls help.....
