Sync problems with 8830 World Edition

In the last several weeks, my Blackberry has stopped syncing with my contact list at my company's enterprise server AND the Microsoft Sync in my car.

 

Company IT department says the only thing they have left to do would be to completely wipe out everything on the phone and start over.

 

In the car, the phone still tries to connect the car but the car says "no device located."

 

I am no longer able to contact Twitter from the phone. Error message my device is not supported. I've been using it for twitter for 2 years.

 

Is it time to trade this puppy in or is there an update out there to bring me up to date?

Are you certain that wireless Syncronization is set to "On" in the Contacs Options?

 

If that doesn't do it then I would make a backup of the device with Desktop Manager, then wipe the device as suggested.  Then restore your backup.  Then see if that fixes your Sync in the car.  After you try that then get a new password from your IT dept to reactivate on the BES.
