Synchronisation Problems

I have been able to synchronise my Curve 9300 with my MS Outlook software without problem for 2 years but I am now suddenly getting an error message in my BB desktop software as follows:

"Unable to access local folders. If your Outlook profile uses the Hotmail connector, you must create a local data store (PST) and set it as the default delivery location for the profile."

I do not use the Hotmail connector as my email is provided by my ISP who also provides the push email to my BB.  The only profile I use is the default profile called 'Outlook' and the file outlook.pst is in the usual default directory C:\Users\me\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook.

What has changed to generate this error message and how do I get round/resolve the problem?
