Synchronization between DM 4.6.1 / Windows 7 and Curve 8529 freezes

I can't complete the synchronization between DM and BB Curve. I have DM 4.6.1.259 running under windows 7, and I have a BB curve 8520. It was working until a week ago 

It shows that it is getting info from Outlook, and then it stops rsponding, or sometimes it stops responding while it indicates that it is preparing to show update information.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Wow...that's a very old Desktop Software version. Is there a reason that you have not moved to the newer versions? The only reasons that I can think of would be if you are using a very old Outlook version that is not supported by the newer DM versions...
