Synchronization of Contacts between 9900 and Outlook on PC

I am struggling to sync contacts...email and scheduler have worked fine but contacts are a problem for some reason. Can anyone help? Basically I am trying to sync BB contacts with my new Outlook on PC

Thanks for the question.

 

What version of BlackBerry Desktop Software are you currently using?  Also what version of Microsoft Outlook are you running?

 

Were you able to synchronize the contacts in the past?  Do you have wireless synchronization enabled?  (If you setup the contact synchronization the option will be greyed out)

Hi thx for getting back to me...I am using Outlook 2013 and BB 7.1.0 bundle 2061

I has wireless sync off an dyes I used to be able to sync contacts..just keeps coming up with an error message

It runs through the whole process of reading the address book on the mobile and then converting it for Outlook but then during the actual sync process, it comes up with this message:

Synchonization Error. CRTTranRec: Get LinkedRecordId:Invalid linked record

 

I have no idea what they are talking about nor which record they are referring to

Hi 

related to the following query, i am able to syncronise the contacts to my handset from outlook, but do not wish to syncronise the contacts through email (contact list)

 

pl advise:

 

1) How i can stop synchronising the contacts with email account

2) How do i delete the existing the contact lists already there in my contacts.

3) how do i change the contact list in a particular contact.

 

pl advise....

I manually went through every one of my 1800 contacts and did a "clean up"....unfortunately still the same error occurred...I have lost so much precious work time over this issue that I am ging to give up on it....maybe buy a Samsung 3....it's got beyond frustrating....sorry I know it is not your fault but when things don't work, users get angry
