Synchronization problem

Hi,

I am receiving e-mails both to my BB 9000 and outlook express without any problem but when I open my outlook express inbox, the e-mail in Blackberry Bold screen disappears in seconds but the same e-mail still stays on outlook. How can I keep e-mails on BB.

Many Thanks in advance

Birol

Re: Synchronization problem

Your Outlook Express on the PC is set to delete messages on your email server. You need to find that setting in Outlook Express and change it to LEAVE messages on the server.

I don't know exactly where in Outlook EXPRESS that setting is located, but I do know where it is located in MS Outlook, see below for a common solution:

IF you are using Outlook to download your email to your desktop PC, Outlook is likely "deleting" mail from your email server when it downloads it to your PC.

There is a setting in Outlook to "Leave Messages on Server".

For MS Outlook 2003:
1. Outlook > Tools > Email accounts > View or Change existing > next.
2. Highlight the email account > Change > More Settings.
3. Advanced Tab > Leave a Copy Messages on Server
4. Check that box.

* You will need to perform this edit for each Outlook email account you have.

Other versions of Outlook have a similar setting although it might located in a slightly different location in the :advanced settings.
