Synchronize issue

8350i phone - In my address book at the top of every contact it says: Synchronize using "email address".  How do I get rid of that?  I have tried the steps to turn off wireless sync, but I says "not available"; therefore I cannot choose yes or no.  This happened one time before, but I cannot remember how I got rid of it.  I don't even know how it got there.  I have already tried taking the battery out for about 30 minutes and that did not work.  Please help!
