some of your contacts have a blank image which is attempting to save a new image for the same...
KB31008 - http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB31008
Are you doing a one-way sync or two-way... if one-way.. is it device to outlook or from outlook to device?

it should not arise often, it could corruption in your contacts
It's not most likely a corruption.. but it causes due to blank contacts as in the KB article which is mentioned.
