Syncing to Mac Address Book

I've been syncing my 8900 to both iCal and Mac Address Book via the Blackberry Desktop Manager (BDM).  All goes well, except that on four occasions now, the Address Book has stopped syncing.  I receive the following message:


No Address Book organizer data was detected on this BlackBerry® device. If you continue synchronizing, you can add your computer's data to your device or you can delete the data from your computer.


The data is there and I can access it on my Blackberry.  If I tell BDM to overwrite the device with information from the computer, the contacts are doubled.


My fix in the past has been to wipe out my address book on my device and start over.  This is getting old and I was wondering if there is a better fix.  Also, I have no idea why this happens.
