My Device: Not Specified

The Device manager has stopped to recognise that my blackberry is connected to the computer.

The Device manager and media sync has randomly stopped to recognise that my blackberry is connected to the computer.   Therefore can not sync anything!!! What do I do??

The computer recognises that the bb is attached but not the software? This has randomly happened and everything was working fine before.

Also as soon as I connect the bb to the computer the phone asks me whether i want to turn mass storage on.  Should i click yes or no?

This is not a usual behavior. There is no relation with mass storage mode with device communication with desktop manager.

Did you try by changing the USB port? Or you can try by uninstalling and then reinstalling Desktop Manager.
