Time Zone Change

Using MS Outlook 2010 to sync calendar with Torch 9800.  How do I prevent the times of calendar appointments from changing when I change a time zone? Example: currenty an appointment set for 10:00 am in PST will change to 11:00 am if I change to MST.  Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Time Zone Change

This is an old old discussion.

Your appointment at 10:00 am in PST actually is at 11:00 am in MST. Why would you want it not to change. It will be incorrect.

Re: Time Zone Change

Perhaps I didn't make myself clear.  The issue is not why I would want the change (if I'm meeting someone for breakfast at 10:00 am, that's local time at the place of the meeting, not time where the meeting was initiated).  The issue is how do I override the automatic change.  Can this be done?

Re: Time Zone Change

The solution is NOT to change your device clock to MST, then.

Or, set the appointment in the correct timezone in the beginning, right? I've faced this a number of times. It's a change of your own habits that's needed.

If you're in LA, and setting an appointment for next week's Denver trip at 10:, set it for the correct PST or PT, so that when you travel, and change the clock timezone, your appointments are correct as well.
