Torch 9800 wifi connection problem


I'm having major problems getting my Torch 9800 to connect to my home broadband via wifi.


Although I can get a powerful signal and connect without any problems in terms of the signal icon appearing on screen once connected, when I try to open BB apps world or go on the browser, it says I need to connect to wifi.


I've tried uninstalling these apps and reinstalling them and although BB app world connects, this is only brief and then goes back a step.


The only thing I've not done yet, which I will do as a last resort, is to reset the BB Torch completely to its factory settings.


Any suggestions before I do this?
