Torch 9810 and Desktop Software 7.0 Bundle 2406

I updated my Torch 9810 Desktop S/W yesterday to Version 7.0 Bundle 2406 and all seemed to go fine with the synchronisation process until it got to 'Preparing sync. preview'.


At this stage, it just went on and on - 1 hour plus - saying that it was 'Progressing', and the Green Bar indicated action, but it never seemed to get anywhere - after 1 hour plus, the screen was still showing the same actions.


Also, the Cancel button seemed inoperative - when clicked, it changed to 'Cancelling', but, again, nothing happened.


The only way to exit the process was to risk disconnection and, literally, restart my pc. I use Outlook 2010 and Windoes 7 ultimate. The USB and cable are the same that I used for synchronising with Version 6.


I uninstalled and reinstalled Version 7.0 Desktop S/W twice, but with no effect or difference.


Can anyone help please?
