Torch Problems

I bought my Torch last April and have been satisfied with its performance until 2 weeks ago. While I was texting, the screen suddenly froze. I closed the slider and it was able to work again, but everytime I reopen it to use the physical keyboard, the screen freezes to what was last displayed. I am not very fond of the touch-keyboard so this is quite a nuissance opening and closing to see what I've written.

Furthermore, when I lock the screen (to prevent pocket dials) there have been 3-times where the screen remains black although the buttons (call/BB/back/end) light up. I've tried removing the battery and restarting the device although that doesnt seem to work. It remains off until it decides to come back on, which lasted about 6 hours last time.

Is there a support number that I can call to claim warranty? Or should I bring it back to the store that I bought it from?

Your warranty is serviced by Bell Mobility. Call them.

What is your Operating System loaded to your device? Look at Options > > Device > About, third line down beginning with a "v.6.0.x.xxx", What is yours?

Re: Torch Problems

I'd recommend you upgrade the OS on the device... .246 is the first the device was released with over 18 months ago.
