Torch error message

Please help me - I cant open the calendar on my torch all of a sudden - it just freezes up.  It will eventually say : uncaught exception: application net__rim_bb_calendar app(263) is not responding; process terminated.  Please help me.  I just updated my software hoping that would help.   no luck.

Welcome to BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Try backing up your device via the BlackBerry Desktop Software and performing a clean reload of your device software. http://bbry.lv/bpv7DT Make sure to test to make sure the calendar issue has been resolved before restoring any data from your backup file.

Do you synchronize your calendar with an email application? If you do, you may want to do a selective restore as shown here: http://bbry.lv/bhaArf and not restore the calendar database but synch it back to your device instead.
