I'm receiving an APP ERROR (No. 523).
On another forum, I saw that deleting the vendor.xml file on the desktop computer will force the desktop manager to see the BlackBerry as a new device, initiating a reload of the operating software.
However, the thread was in relation to a BlackBerry Pearl. Can I follow the same procedure for my Curve?
Might this fix the slowdowns my BlackBerry has been experiencing?
Anything else I should be aware of in completing a complete system reboot (soft re-boots, by removing the battery, have proved unsuccessful at solving the slowdown problems)?
