Trackball won't select

Periodically, starting a few weeks after I got the phone, the trackball will not select. I can move it in all directions, but no matter how hard I press it won't select. Sometimes this lasts for hours, other times for weeks. Then it acts normal. Any ideas?

You maybe getting dust or dirt under it, but I would take it back in case you have a defect. Since your still under warranty why take a chance?

I've taken the ball out and looked at it, but everything seems clean. I was thinking about taking it to the store. I didn't know if I should try talking to BB directly first or go to ATT. I guess I'll try that. Thanks!

If you got it from ATT go to them first and get a new one!

I would recommand you not to do this sort of staff that you did with your trackball as you're in warranty period. Because demaing the device will voide your warranty.
