Trackpad

Help me please!

Within the past week or so the trackpad on my Pearl has apparently developed a fault - sometimes it works fine, sometimes it only works horizontally, sometimes it won't move the cursor at all. I've tried all the usual stuff such as rebooting (this seems to correct the problem for a few minutes, sometimes not at all).

I've just downloaded the most up to date OS (v.6.0) and this seems to help but again only for a short time.

Has anybody got any suggestions? Thanks...

I am having the exact same issue. Considering this is my 2nd Pearl within a year, its so frustrating!

I find restarting it works for a few minutes, but then I can move side to side or up and down, but not both, and not within secondary menus.

I have tried clearing out all my data, using compressed air, but nothing so far is working!
