Transferring photos from 8900 to Q10

The store told me I could do this with Blackberry Link, but it doesn't recognize the 8900.  They took out the chip and put the number on the smaller chip for the Q10. I can still see the photos on the 8900. How do I get them? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Transferring photos from 8900 to Q10

Hey ibh,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Thanks for the question.

Follow the steps in this KB article to migrate your data: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB33322

Please note: the device software must be running 5.0 and higher.  Check the current version you are running on the BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone by typing myver in a message and hit the spacebar.

Also all the media should be saved to your media card, you can place the media card into your new BlackBerry Q10 smartphone and it will show all the media files that are saved to the media card.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Cheers.
