I'm having trouble setting up the bluetooth so that I can tranfer songs onto my blackberry from my laptop (macbook pro). My laptop recognizes the device, but when I press "browse" it says that the "device does not have the necessary services". Can someone tell me if I'm doing something wrong, or if I should call my wireless provider.

Hi and welcome to the forums!
Have you set your BB to either be discovered or to pair with another device?
You need to have your BB recognize the MAC as well.
Try Bluetooth Icon, and either add a new device or allow another device to discover me.
Let me know what happens!

The thread you linked to helped me get a bit further, however when I was sending the song to my blackberry from my laptop it says that it failed, and on my computer it says that the connection failed. I tried it a few more times with the same outcome, any ideas as to what is going wrong now?
Thanks for your help!

Just to make sure, you did get the Blackberry paired with the Mac, right?
One other question is the BB right next to your PC? There's a limitation of about 30ft with Bluetooth.
Warning! I was born and raised a Windows guy, so I can't speak to the Mac part of this!
Let me know!

Do you have the USB cable that came with your bb? You can drag and drop songs to your media card. I will look like a removable drive. Also via the USB cable you can either use Roxio out of your Desktop Software or you can use a new BB product Media sync.
Here is a link to media sync ;
It's not bluetooth but It will give you music on your phone!

I realize you're after a Bluetooth solution, but I thought I'd mention that PocketMac for BlackBerry 4.1.25 does support iTunes synching via USB.
Hope this helps!
