Trouble seting up my e-mail

Dear all,

 

I have a Blackberry Cure 9220 and I' trying to set up my e-mail by using my gmail address.

After inserting the e-mail address and the password, the phone gives me the following message "account set-up failled".

 

What am I doing wrong?

Is that the exact and complete error message presented? Usually, there is much more...and useful searching depends on accurate search criteria. Indeed, with the error exactly as you have provided it, I find no results at all in the public KB databases:

Please try searching with the accurate and complete error message.

 

Alternatively, you can try from your BB browser, this url:

You can also ring up your mobile service provider for formal assistance...only they can look at their systems to see if there is some other reason this may not be working for you.
