My bold 9900 keeps turning off why

Do you think a new battery will fix it

Hi there,

 

 

If even after removing any unknown application you're having the same problem then it may a Battery issue or the device itself. So , before buying any new Battery if you can arrange or barrow a good fully charged battery then test it in your device . It will reveal if the problem is within your device or the battery itself . 

 

If problem cease after using another good battery then you should buy a new battery to resolve your issue. If problem persists even after using a good battery then you can try an OS reload to rule out any software issue .
