No, it's called UMA.

Re: UMA Availability on 9900

It was my understanding that UMA has been phased out on the 9900.

UMA is a hardware solution allowing the handoff of calls between WiFi and Cellular towers - the 9780 was the last UMA blackberry that TMobile released...

The 9900 apparently contains the UMA hardware, but it has been disabled in favor of what is now dubbed "WiFi Calling".

"WiFi Calling" behaves much the same - but it's a software-only solution, and does not hand off calls between wifi and cellular. It's one or the other.

The 9900 did not initially ship from TMobile with WiFi calling enabled (at least in the official releases - it did apparently work in the 'leaked' version) - WiFi calling support has only been officially enabled on the 9900 since Early March when the latest OS update for the 9900 went out from TMobile.

If anyone knows anything more... Please feel free to correct me or clarify further.
