Recently when doing a Sync of my device a message appeared on my desktop programme saying an update to my OS was available - so like a fool i decided to do the update - i did not disconnect my handheld device as it told me not to do so!!! Well 18 hours later it had still not managed to connect to the device and as i had to use my phone i did disconnet it and now it will not open up but just shows the message APP ERROR 606 - RESET but i cannot do that either - any fixes available as RIM will not even give me a way of talking to one of their so called specialists and i am mightily SICK AND TIRED of the whole BB fiasco. so anyone out there with a clue other than a large 100,000 Volt AC kick up the backside for it would be appreciated!!!!!

So you performed an on device OTA OS update ! Something must have gone wrong while update .
Do you have any previous backup of your device data ? To resolve your issue with this JVM error you can follow those Knowledge Base article and try to Reload / Update your device software :
