Im kind of new to this. I currently have a Blackberry Pearl 8130 through Telus, and for the past week I have been having sisues connecting to the mobile network. My account is in perfect standing, so its not a billing related issue. When I do connect its for a short period of time, usually about 5-10 seconds, then disconnects on its own. At the top right hand corner my phone says RADIO OFF.
Here is what I have done thus far: (none of which have worked)
-Disconnected battery while phone was on, waited 30 seconds, placed battery back in
-Updated to the latest BB software, that a Telus tech promised would solve the issue
-Kept phone above a 50 % charge
I'm sure there were a few more things ive tried! Telus has refused any additional help on this, and says I will need to buy a new phone, so any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
