Unable to Restore BB Software after OS Upgrade

Hi. I am unable to restore several programs (PWKeeper, BBM, BBTraffic, Memo, Tasks, Maps) after a wipe and OS upgrade.  I backed up the phone prior to the wipe but did not turn off wireless sync. Learning now that I should have.  I have deleted desktop sync service book, rebooted, tried to restore. No success. Even reinstalled OS.  Is there combo-keys to enter on phone that turns off wireless sync prior to restore?  9850 Storm. Thx for help.

Re: Unable to Restore BB Software after OS Upgrade

First thing... on your device go to Options > BlackBerryID and enter your BlackBerryID and password.

BBTraffic and BBM can be downloaded from AppWorld. Look at AppWorld > MyWorld and they should be listed as uninstalled. If so, install them. If you do not see them listed in uninstalled and you did have them installed previously, follow the directions below to refresh your MyWorld screen.

PasswordKeeper, Memos, Tasks and BBMaps will need to be installed from connecting to your PC and opening the BlackBerry Desktop Software. Click on Applications and scroll through the list and click on those apps you need reinstalled.

To refresh MyWorld

1. Open App World
2. Go to My World

3a. Press the Menu Key > Refresh
3a. For keyboard-based BB's -- Hold down the ALT key and press "RST"
3b. For Storm -- Hold the num-lock ("!?123") button so it locks and then hit "34("
4. If your BB locks after issuing the cache clear, perform a battery pull reboot

Re: Unable to Restore BB Software after OS Upgrade

J, the wierd thing is the apps are not appearing in the list in DM.  They are MIA. I reinstalled the OS assuming they would appear but they don't.  I've managed to get everything back except Task and Device Analyzer.

- Memos

- Messager Options

- S/MIME Options

Re: Unable to Restore BB Software after OS Upgrade

Those are not apps, that's a list of data from the restore options, so they'll be greyed out until you first install the actual apps per my instructions above.
