Unable to access BBM on my Playbook via my BB Torch 9800

I recently bought the Playbook. I updated the software on the Playbook to OS 1.0.8.4985, and all my software is up to date on my BB Torch 9800. While trying to access BBM on my Playbook, I recieved the following message "Blackberry Bride plug-in for Blackberry Messenger does not exist, or your version of Blackberry Messenger does not support Blackberry Bridge". I uninstalled BBM and reinstalled it, and I'm still getting the same message.
