Unable to connect to internet on home WiFi

I am unable to connect to the internet on my Torch via my home WiFi. The network works fine for everything else (3 laptops and my g/f's Bold 9700) but not my Torch. I can use WiFi on my Torch at work and at my g/f's house with no problems...and her WiFi router is identical to mine...

 

I ran the WiFi diagnostics tool...here are the results:

Mate... how does your WiFi works... it's like open for any users.. or does it requires an SSID to authenticate....

 

anyways, for testing purposes... try switching of Mobile networks under Manage connections and switch on WiFi... then try checking..

Connecting to the network is not the issue. If you look at the results of the WiFi diagnostic, you will see that it connects to the WiFi router without issue. The problem is that it will not connect to the internet or BIS thru this WiFi network (but works fine on other networks). Moreover, other BlackBerries CAN connect thru my home WiFi network.

Just got my Torch yesterday and even after getting my initial data issue worked out, mine also doesn't seem to take to my home wifi. I am having the exact same issue, so am curious to see what can be done.

i am having almost same problem. I live in Singapore. Brought the torch 9800 from BrightStar company yesterday . I see the back of the torch and says it is made in Mexico , SO it seem like export set. My problem is that, i could connect my private wifi but no internet. When ever i go browser or any social network app, it would say* DATA services are disbaled. Go to Mobile net work to enable* . ANd i do not hav data plan so if i turn on MOBILE DATA and use internet, my bill would be a BOOM*! So any idea how to use internet with wifi without turning on mobile data? So ALL BB need to switch on Mobile DATA to use Internet?? IF so, i am greatly disappointed i cant find HOTSPOT browser in option ...
