Unable to download app upgrade


App World says that there is a free upgrade available foe BeBuzz however whwn I go to the BeBuzz site to download the upgrade there is no option there allowing me to uprade the app, there is only a "RUN" and a"DOWNLOAD TRIAL" option available.  I tried RUN but that only runs the version already installed on my BB Tour 9630 and I even deleted the app on my phone and tried to reinstall BeBuzz thinking that it would install the upgraded version 2.1.22 but that did not work either.  I even received a text message from App World saying that there is a BeBuzz upgrade v2.1.22 available for downloading so I tried going through that  link but I still only get a RUN and a DOWNLOAD TRIAL option.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on how I might be able to get the upgrade version 2.1.22 of BeBuzz ?

Hi there!

In some cases, it has been discovered that updates (from AppWorld obtained apps) require additional steps in order to install the update. If the update will not install, please attempt this:

  1. Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications > highlight the app > BBKey > Delete
  2. AppWorld > MyWorld > Login > highlight the app (if it shows at all, in any state) > BBKey > Delete
  3. Use either your PC (via Mass Storage Mode) or your BB (via Media > BBKey > Explore) and find any references (folders, files) to the app. Delete whatever you find. Search both your Device Memory as well as your Media Card.
  4. Use this AppWorld user guide link to re-install the app -- if required a new registration/activation key should then be provided

Mine tells me the upgrade is not available through App World when I click on the upgrade icon supplied.
