Unable to log into my Blackberry

Rather frustrated by this...

I dropped my BB and the battery came out. Unfortunately it reset the phone and it is showing me the BB login screen as it is recognising my SIM as new, even though it isn’t. It isn’t accepting my details. I’ve checked both my username and password online and it is working.

When I proceed to forgotten password on my phone, it doesn’t take me through as my phone is offline. I’m also aborad on a very poor roaming service.

Not quite sure what to do about this, has anybody experienced and been able to resolve this?

Re: Unable to log into my Blackberry

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

It sounds like the fall the device took did some damage. And, with what you describe, I deduce that even attempting to fix it while roaming won't be possible. It needs to communicate with it's home network first before roaming can function again. Sadly, I think you have lost the use of this device for the duration of your travels, and it may indeed be permanently damaged (though such cannot be determined until it's back in range of it's home network).

Good luck!
