Hi. I have excactly this problem, given I'm on a BES I don't really want to do a security wipe, surely thers an answer!

I had this same issue with my 9900. I was able to fix it by clicking on the payment options tab in app world (of course they want your money, right?) and it brought me to a screen that asked me to re-sign into blackberry app world. Once I resigned in there I was able to go into "my world" again and download apps and do whatever else I needed. Hope this helps.

I've got the excact same problem and I want to try the security swipe but how do I make a backup of my blackberry?

Hi Lynn. Download the Blackberry Desktop Software to your PC. Then connect your phone to your PC with a USB cable. The software will connect to your phone and you will see the BackUp option. The Security Wipe does fix the BB I'd issue. Good Luck. Clive G
