I've downloaded mp3 format music files via e-mail attachments.
It worked fine for a couple of days and suddenly won't play anymore.
Please let me know how to fix this.

I deleted the files and transferred them using Roxio Media Manager but still don't work.
When I press the button, it won't just play. Nothing happens.
Usually when music starts, the 'play' button changes into 'pause' button. But now it just show 'play' button, and won't automatically play.

I would just forget about Roxio and when you connect your BB up go to the drive named BlackBerry in Windows Explorer or My computer and then drag and drop the files under BlackBerry>Music.
As long as these aren't DRM protected files from iTunes (read DRM is dead anyway) then you should be fine.

i'm having the same problem,
I transfered music from my macbook to my blackberry using a bluetooth connection,
First few days everything played perfectly, then just today when recieving a call i noticed that
the phone didn't ring only vibrated.
When noticing this i went into media and tried playing the tracks none of the 3 that use to play would
play, tried to reupload them but still having the same problem.
Hope some one has an answer.

Sometimes my storm doesn't like to read my music files. All I have to do is pull the battery and put it back in. I pull the battery while the phone is still on. This also helps if your storm is lagging, it closes all programs and clears out the memory being used to run multiple programs.
