Unable to synch 8300 Curve with MS Outlook using Desktop Manager 4.5

I'm now unable to synchronize my 8300 (from AT&T).  During the synch process it was stopping during the "Processing HandheldCalendar" step (Record 60 of 60 records) with the following popup error message "Unable to complete request."  So, I updated the Desktop manager to (May 30, 2008).  Nice new eye-candy interface.

For what it is worth, I used the Backup feature on Desktop Manager 4.5 to successfully create a current backup.

With this new Desktop manager, while synchronization was in progress, it was reading from Microsoft Outlook Address Book and got his error message:

"Intellisync: No available message stores."

I next opened up RIM.Log.  It had a date/time stamp from my latest synch attempt.
