Unable to upgrade to Desktop software v7.0.059

I have the version 7.0.0.43 (bundle 44) installed. The error message reads: Could not create "c:\users\myname\application Data\research in motion" - unzip option cancelled. Each time, it downloads 107MB of data and then the operation fails at this stage. Can this issue be solved?

Hello,

From your description, the problem is with your Windows user account...it does not have adequate rights to save the unzipped files to the specified folder. You need to change your Windows user account rights to allow you write access to the specified location. Typically, the best method is to log into your computer with an account that has Admin level rights.
