Uncaught Exception: UUID Must Be 36 Characters Long

Hello,

My blackberry App World has started to generate the error:

UUID Must Be 36 Characters Long

I know that it it App World for the following reasons:

1) Absolutely no changes have been to the phone.

2) App World loads when the phone is rebooted (battery removal and replaced).  However, when it is selected it will not display.

3) When I uninstall the application the error goes away.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the software has not resolved this issue.

Any suggestions?

TIA,

Greg

Hey Mpg,

Try using the BlackBerry® Desktop Software to remove the BlackBerry® App World application as shown here in this Inside BlackBerry® Help blog:

http://helpblog.blackberry.com/2011/02/add-and-remove-blackberry-apps/

Once BlackBerry® App World has been removed, from the Browser visit www.BlackBerry.com/appworld to re-install, let us know how you make out.

Thanks.
