Re: Uncaught exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFound Error

Same here on the Storm 9550...tried uninstalling and reinstalling, tried battery pulls, tried to even find a downgrade...aren't upgrades suppose to be better and not make an app useless?

saw an iphone today...hmmmm...just saying....

Same here on my 9700 Bold, it also blew away my BBM and I can't get BBM back with out app world. How do I go back to working version. 3.1.0.42 I think was what I had.

Re: Uncaught exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFound Error

I was able to fix the issue on my Bold 9000 (correction on 9700). I removed app world, then performed wireless software update to the OS, then re-installed app world ver 3.1.0.56 and it worked. My BBM is back now too.

Re: Uncaught exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFound Error

Same here on my Bold. This is obviously a RIM problem with this release so I'd expect them to issue a fix pronto. Unfortunately, it's all quiet from RIM - a bit like the server problem in October!
