Re: Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException

Hello lucaste,

We suggest that you perform a clean reload of your BlackBerry® Device Software to address the "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException" error message you are receiving on your BlackBerry® Bold™ 9000 smartphone. For more information on this procedure see the following article:

How to perform a clean reload of the BlackBerry Device Software - http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320

If this fails to resolve the issue, please contact your point of sale for options.

Thank you.

Re: Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException

I received this same error message after performing an update & was told that after trying to backup, delte & restore didn't work that I would have to return the phone for a new one.  The phone is less than a month old & this is what I have to deal with?  I used blackberries for 6-7 years now & this is the last straw.  The constant rebooting not initiatied by me, the delays in sending emails, etc.  I finally went to the iphone & will use a blackberry again.  This is the latest version of the BOLD as well.
